Our new patch birth control study is an exciting clinical research project designed to evaluate the safety, effectiveness, and overall user experience of a contraceptive patch.

Females 16-34 years of age with a BMI of 30 or higher

Eligibility

Do you have monthly cycles ranging from 21-35 days over the last 6 months with an intact uterus and both fallopian tubes and ovaries? *

Are you sexually active at least once a month with a male partner? *

Are you currently using any birth control? *

If yes, what type?

Are you trying to get pregnant in the next 12 months? *

Are you willing to use a study-provided birth control patch and not use any other contraceptives? *

Eligibility

Are you willing to accept risk of pregnancy? *

Do you Anticipate routine use of condoms or any other form of back-up contraception? *

Do you have any sensitivity to medicated patches, bandages, or surgical tape? *

Are you able to attend in-person clinic visits (7 in office visits)? *

Are you willing to complete a short daily/weekly diary or app survey? *

Within the past year, have you had either suicidal ideation or attempt or severe depression requiring hospitalization? *
